        The Linear Broadcast FMT series of low power  FM Transmitters are designed to fill the needs of the broadcaster requiring high performance and reliability at a cost effective price. The FMT unit is self-contained in a 1RU rack case and provides fully adjustable power output and a user-programmable Phase Locked Loop frequency via simple internally accessible rotary switches.
        As with nearly all our FM transmitters, a stereo encoder can be added inside the FMT unit if stereo broadcast is required and an external encoder is not being used. The LCD display on the front panel displays frequency, RF power, audio levels and supply voltage. This allows the user to quickly confirm the transmitter status. If remote monitoring is required, the information on the LCD screen is repeated on an RS232 serial data stream from the 9 pin connector on the rear panel.

         These transmitters are fitted with an audio processing system which prevents overmodulation and keeps the modulation at a consistently high level. Noise and distortion are thus kept low over a wide range of audio input levels.
